Emergency Department Use Among Persons with MS

Jonas Graf and team presented a poster on “Emergency department visits by persons with MS: a population-based study” at the 2021 ECTRIMS conference. Health administration data from persons with MS in British Columbia and emergency department (ED) visits from the National Ambulatory Care Reporting System were used to investigate ED use among people with MS. Infection-related reasons accounted for nearly 20% of visits. Read more about the team’s work at the ECTRIMS abstract server.
